Warehouse workers rally in Mira Loma for increased safety

Union workers seeking improved workplace safety conditions reportedly conducted a rally last week outside a warehouse company in Mira Loma, California. Forklift operator killed in Murrieta rollover accident

Construction worker injured in fall at Steven Tyler's home

Man trapped under granite in Fontana work accident

Fire crews used powered rotary saws and hand tools to tear into a 20-foot shipping container last Tuesday evening in Fontana, California to rescue a worker trapped in a work-related accident. San Bernardino County authorities were called to the Fontana location after the container shifted while workers were unloading slabs of granite from the container. An unidentified worker was inside the container when it shifted, toppling slabs of granite in the container and trapping the worker underneath the rock.

So Cal Edison worker electrocuted in Menifee blast

One electrical worker was killed and three other Southern California Edison workers sustained injuries in an industrial accident last week. Veteran workers can face serious injuries, and even death, in a work-related accident. The recent industrial accident reportedly occurred during routine maintenance, and a veteran lineman was killed in the work-related accident.

As I am sure you all know by now, the NFL owners along with other sports team owners are on a vicious campaign to prevent professional athletes from accessing workers' compensation benefits in California.  I previously listed the evils of this legislation in a prior blog.
